Overview
The Fluke 725EX is a robust, intrinsically safe multifunction process calibrator designed for use in explosion-hazardous environments (Ex / intrinsically safe zones). It allows both measurement and sourcing (or simulation) of key process parameters including volts DC, milliamp (mA), RTDs, thermocouples, resistance (ohms), frequency, and with optional pressure modules, even pressure measurement or simulation. It supports two-channel simultaneous source and measure capability, enabling calibration of transmitters in the field.
Because of its intrinsic safety design (Class I, Division 1, ATEX / Ex ia certification), it can be safely used in areas where explosive gases may be present. It offers features such as auto-stepping, auto-ramping, memory storage of setups, internal loop power supply, and simple push-button operation for field use.

【FAQ】
Q: What does “intrinsically safe” mean for Fluke 725EX?
It means the instrument is designed so that even under fault conditions it cannot release sufficient energy (spark or heat) to ignite a hazardous atmosphere. The 725EX is certified for Class I, Division 1 and ATEX Ex ia environments.
Q: Can the 725EX calibrate pressure transmitters?
Yes — with the optional Fluke 700PEx pressure modules, it can measure or source pressure up to 3000 psi / 200 bar, and support pressure switch tests.
Q: How many measurement / output functions does the 725EX support?
It supports volts DC, mA, resistance (ohms), frequency / CPM, thermocouples, RTDs, and with module support, pressure.
Q: Can it perform two-channel simultaneous measurement and source?
Yes — it can source on one channel while simultaneously measuring on another, which is useful for calibrating transmitters.
Q: What is the typical battery life and power supply?
It uses 4 AA batteries and typical operating time is about 25 hours.
