Overview
The HIOKI PW3337 is a state-of-the-art, three-channel AC/DC power meter designed for demanding industrial, R&D, and production environments. It allows accurate measurement over a broad range of electrical signals—from very low frequency and DC up to high frequency, over multiple wiring configurations. Whether you’re evaluating motors, inverters, power supplies, or complete power conditioning systems, the PW3337 offers the flexibility and precision needed for both development and compliance testing.
Designed to handle direct inputs of up to 1000 V AC/DC and 65 A per channel (direct input), with optional current sensor inputs for much larger currents (up to 5000 A in some configurations), the PW3337 is well suited for power systems with large dynamic swings. It supports single‐phase (2-wire, 3-wire) to three-phase (3-wire & 4-wire) wiring, with all channels independently ranged for voltage/current.
Because many real-world loads (motors, PV inverters, etc.) have non-sinusoidal waveforms and require harmonic analysis, the PW3337 includes built-in harmonic measurement compliant with IEC 61000-4-7, offering analysis up to the 50th harmonic. It also handles low power factor loads with high accuracy, making it ideal for testing no-load transformer loss, motor idle currents, etc.
